How to Restore the Bluetooth Option in Microsoft Windows if it’s Missing

The Bluetooth mouse on my parent’s computer suddenly stopped working. Somehow Bluetooth was not only disabled, but on their Windows 10 computer the option was not even there!
After searching Windows 10 Bluetooth Option Missing, this seemed promising but ultimately did not help:
- Press Windows key + R
- Type: services.msc
- Hit Enter
- Scroll down to Bluetooth Support Service
- Right click it
- Click Properties
- Under the General tab
- Click in the Startup type: listbox
- Choose Automatic
- Click Start

I downloaded a driver. You can see it’s from the Intel website, so I knew it was safe:
