Does your Volume Down key not work on the Logitech MX Keys S Keyboard? There’s a simple solution.

I recently bought the Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard and am pretty happy with it. I initially had one issue with it, which has since been resolved.

At the top row, where the Function keys are, there’s an option to have them perform other functions (aside from the default). But I use the Function Keys as-is enough that I made that the standard.

The button for “Volume Up” worked fine, however the “Volume Down” button didn’t work. I had just purchased new speakers, and thought there was something wrong those instead.

The issue is that because the Volume Down was on the F12 key, I needed to hold the FN button while pressing it- which is different from pressing the Volume Up key (by itself).
